Rachel Battaglia is an economist at RBC where she delivers analysis and forecasting on Canada’s provincial economies, consumer spending patterns, and housing market trends. Her insights inform key RBC Economics’ publications, including the quarterly economic outlook and monthly consumer spending tracker. She regularly appears in the media, offering her take on timely policy announcements and economic data releases.
Rachel holds a Master of Science from the Amsterdam School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in economics (honors) from the University of Western Ontario.
